It touches almost every aspect of your job as a real estate agent. We will look at the general concepts of agency, the specifics of buyer and seller representation, duties, your disclosure requirements, dual and designated representation and the different forms used.

June 4th- 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm Pulling Comparable Properties-Instructor Rick Guthrie- Proper pricing is important when marketing a home. Rick will show you how he uses the MLS to pull comparable pricing so you can educate your seller clients on their home.

June 11th 11:30 am- 1:30 pm Home Inspection_ Process & Paperwork-Instructor Ann Beck- In the session, participants will review the purpose of the home inspection along with understanding the various types of inspections buyers may select to obtain. Best practices for setting client expectations, scheduling and conducting inspections along with a detailed review of all residential contract paperwork used to create and release the inspection contingency will be covered.
June 11th 1:30 pm-2:30 pm Bulletproofing your Transaction-Instructor Krissy Shellenberger-Real Advantage TM-Real Estate Transaction Management. Getting a client under contract is one thing, getting them to the closing table is quite another. Krissy will walk you through steps to Bullet Proof a transaction, so your client gets to the closing table.
June 18th 11:30 am- 1:30 pm Mortgage Basics-Instructor Peter LaRock-Guild Mortgage-Mortgage Basics will provide you with insights from the perspective of a lender and underwriter of what you as an agent representing both buyers and sellers must know about finance to be an effective consultant to your clients throughout any transaction.
June 18th 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm Agent Safety-Instructor Brendan Murphy- Agent Safety First is a thought-provoking overview of a real estate agent's daily routine and overall personal safety measures. During Fast Track we will cover creating a plan of action, how to increase situational awareness and reacting to a variety of situations.
June 25th 11:30 am-12:20 pm Property Marketing Strategies-Instructor Stephanie Feltner-Marketing is key to presenting your listing successfully. Karin will lead a discussion in best practices in a property marketing plan.
June 25th 12:30 pm-1:30 pm Pest Inspections-Instructor Jeff Fortune-Pest Exit-This class will be an intro into residential home inspections taught by professional inspectors. The Pest Exit professionals will discuss the Home Inspection and will go over well, septic, radon and pest inspections.
June 25th 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm The Closing Process - Instructor Jim Johnson-RGS Title-This class is designed to provide a roadmap for the Realtor to follow to a smooth and successful conclusion of a real estate transaction. In the process of detailing the roles of the listing agent, the selling agent, and the settlement agent, the Realtor will gain a better understanding of the "behind the scenes" work that goes into each transaction. In turn, this will allow them to better serve their clients by providing insight into how the entire process flows from beginning to end. Furthermore, this course touches on various common special circumstances Realtors may encounter. and will better prepare them for handling such situation in a smooth and efficient manner.
